A small band has assembled to at the request of Gundren Rockseeker to transport a wagon from the city of Neverwinter  to Pandalin, a small town three days Southeast.

The party so far consists of:

• Wintersky an Elven Wizard
• Grumpy a Dwarven Cleric
• Arius an Elven Fighter
• Flower an Elven Fighter

The second night out, the party was camping just North of the Triboar trail.  Shortly after they retired, the party was surprised by a group of goblins.  The fight was quick with 3 of the 4 goblins were slain.  The 4th ran away.

Goblin

Winter was severely injured.  Fortunately, Grumpy was able to heal her.  The rest of the evening past uneventfully.

The next day, party was ambushed, again by goblins, while checking out 2 dead horses.  Again the party was victorious.  However, this time it was Grumpy who was nearly killed as goblin leaped onto the wagon and attacked her from behind. 

The horses have been identified as belonging to Gundren.  Left with the horses were empty saddle bags and an empty map case.

The party has found a trail leading North from the road.

The next adventure begins with a wounded party and their cleric is unconscious but stable.  So, no healing in the short term.

Do they push on to Phandalin or go explore where the trail leads?
